Just got back from a fantastic few days in Vegas, and I am completely in love with Mr. Wynn's new Encore Hotel. It is the classiest, coolest and most extraordinary hotel in Las Vegas.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Vegas is having a Grand Opening party for The New Joint of mass proportions; so extreme in fact that Sir Paul McCartney himself is headlining.

“The Hard Rock is known for generating legendary moments by presenting mega-sized acts in an intimate environment and this is certainly one of them,” says Randy Kwaskniewski, President and COO of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

LasVegas' New City Center Cancelled?

Well, sort of.

By the end of 2009, CityCenter, a sprawling 67 acre spot between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo on the Strip, was set to include all of the above -- ARIA, a 61 story, 4,000 room casino; Vegas’ first Mandarin Oriental; Veer Towers, a strictly residential spot with nearly 2,400 condos; Crystals, the 500,000 square foot retail and entertainment district; and The Harmon Hotel & Spa.
