After traveling the world in support of their third album, “Day & Age,” hometown heroes, The Killer’s, will be making an appearance at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel on Friday, April 17, 2009.

So what makes this a “can’t miss” Vegas concert? For starters, these guys are actually from Vegas (in case you didn’t pick that up in the first sentence). Second, in an interview with HRH Magazine, frontman Brandon Flowers told a reporter that, “[he] saw Oasis play at The Joint when I was about seventeen and [his] life was changed.” Marry those two facts and you’ve got one hell of a concert on your hands.

The first single from “Day & Age,” titled “Human,” was aired on September 2008. The actual album was released in November 2008 and immediately shot to #1 in many countries including the UK and Greece. In the US, “Day & Age” has sold, to date, a whopping 1.5 million copies.
