While crazy Vegas nights are all about dressed up glamour, Vegas days are about relaxing poolside and sipping ice cold drinks in your sexiest swimsuit. And there is no better place to do so than at MGM Grand’s WET REPUBLIC, Vegas’ “it” pool.

Last year over 80,000 bikini clad pool-goers came to experience the MGM’s latest luxurious installment. This year, the hotel expects that and more and wants its fans to do the same. Anthony Olheiser, director of nightlife for the MGM Grand stated that, “WET REPUBLIC transformed the quintessential Vegas pool party and quickly became the summer destination to see and be seen. This year, WET REPUBLIC will blow guests away with even more action-packed parties, entertainment, eye-candy and the hottest DJ line-up under the sun.”

The supreme spot delivers right at launch time with a scandalous party hosted by the luscious  that will take place on Saturday, March followed up by a grand opening party on Saturday, April 18. After the opening ceremonies subside, the sizzling water world will launch Daylife Sundays – a gotta be there weekly event. 

WET REPUBLIC is the place to be for partygoers, celebrities, and other privileged partiers which combines the best of Vegas nightlife with the “ultimate daylife experience.” Guests can indulge in poolside cocktails, check into a VIP bungalow, or party on the pool deck or in the cabanas. And of course, in true Vegas style, swank, high end amenities and entertainment will be standard here.

To get an idea of what WET REPUBLIC is really like imagine a 2,500 square foot open-air ultra lounge full of half naked partiers overlooking a watery paradise of a pool where bronzed sunbathers sip cocktails poolside. Within the lounge, a 60 foot marble topped bar draped in sensuous fabrics like silk rises above the creamy couches and dark wood dance floors where pool honeys dance sexily to world renowned DJ beats. At the center of it all is the 4,100 sundeck where celebrity guests do what they do best and entertain while the elevated DJ booth thumps above the crowd and yes, even in the pool, with a state of the art underground sound system.

Go another tier up and you’ll see six exclusive bungalows which carry the beige and ruby theme from the lounge into a more private setting that includes a plush king size bed, Xbox 360, blue-ray players, a stocked mini fridge, personal services, and more.

Taking it back down to pool level, you’ll find ten party cabanas, the perfect place to kick back oversized couches and daybeds and get a massage or nosh on some tasty treats. Or stand on the glistening six inch wet deck so you can keep cool while WET REPUBLIC heats up.
