Drumroll please....the $60 million Join concert venue at Hard Rock hotel and casino has won the award for the "Best New Major Concert Venue" at the 21st Annual Pollstar Concert Industry Awards. 

The New Joint at the Hard Rock in Vegas opened last May with 5 stunning sold-out shows, and has been on a roll ever since.  Its an incredible venue, and we extend our big congratulations to the teams at the Joint, the Hard Rock, and AEG.

The Pollstar Awards were held last night at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

Tomorrow's IT place to be is the Venus Pool Club at Caesar's Palace, as they celebrate the pool club's Grand Opening. 

The pool is operated by the legendary Pure Management Group, so its safe to say that this is one poolside bash that you won't want to miss. 

The Grand Opening event takes place tomorrow (May 8, 2009) from 12 pm - 3 pm.

Today, WET REPUBLIC, MGM Grand’s ultra pool, welcomed Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton to host Daylife Sundays, the ultra pool's weekly industry party.

The fighter had a devastating loss last night but it has not damaged his spirit or that of his fans.
