Great Hotels for Your Las Vegas Retreat
The stiff competition among hotels in Vegas means that each new one strives to be bigger and better than those that came before it, such as the new Palazzo hotel (shown at left).
Most of the larger hotels in Vegas now have on-site spas, pools, bars, fine dining, gyms and excellent room service. This gives you a huge number of options to choose from for your Las Vegas getaway.
Check out some of the amazing suites at the luxury hotels on and off the Strip.
For a truly relaxing experience away from the buzz of the Vegas Strip, you might want to stay at either Lake Las Vegas Resort or Red Rock Resort (shown at left and at the very top).
These two hotels are just outside of Las Vegas, and are close to the natural beauty of the area, offering guests a refreshing Vegas getaway experience.

Great Restaurants for Your Vegas Getaway
Your Las Vegas retreat is bound to be indulgent, so you’re going to want to dine at some of the incredible restaurants that make their homes in Sin City.
For visual as well as culinary enjoyment, check out the stunning Mix, a large space decorated with blown glass and subdued lighting, and Pearl at MGM Grand (shown at left), an Asian-themed restaurant with moving waterfall wall.
Cool Places for a Cocktail or Glass of Wine
While Vegas has a huge number of top nightclubs, the city has also some great lounges and bars with a more chilled-out ambience. For a classy cocktail, try Caramel lounge at the Bellagio, or Todd English's Olives restaurant at the Bellagio.
Wine enthusiasts will be happy to hear that Las Vegas has some great spots for a glass of wine, such as Aureole at Mandalay Bay and Onda Lounge at the Mirage (shown at left).
With its casual Italian-inspired style, and its selection of wine and cheeses, the Onda Lounge at the Mirage is a great place for a casual glass of wine.
Spas for Your Las Vegas Retreat
No Las Vegas retreat would be complete without a visit to one of the city’s premier spas.
The luxurious hotels along the Strip have a huge number of top spas that offer some amazing treatments, such as the Spa at the Bellagio (shown at left).
If you’re ready to wander off the Strip, you can find even more incredible oases of relaxation, like the spa at the Red Rock Resort.

Concerts are full-on spectacle in Vegas, but for truly magnificent performances, check out one of the many variety shows in the city, such as the V Variety show at Planet Hollywood.
