Cheap Vegas Weddings: a Las Vegas Wedding on a Shoestring Budget
If you don’t have a big wedding budget or you just want a simple, easy ceremony, here are some simple ways to cut costs on your Vegas wedding:
- Limit your guest list. The more people you invite to your Las Vegas wedding, the higher the cost. So, if you want to have a cheap wedding in Las Vegas, then limit your guest list to meet your budget.
- Have your Vegas wedding off-season, or on a day of the week that has fewer weddings. And, if you want to have a really cheap wedding in Las Vegas then consider having your wedding during the week. Weekends in general are big business times in Las Vegas. You will likely be able to get a very steep discount on your Vegas wedding location if you are willing to have your wedding during the week. An extra bonus: you, and all of your guests, will also save a ton of money on your hotel bills since hotel prices tend to go way down during the middle of the week.
- Consider renting your wedding gown and/or tuxedo, rather than purchasing one, from one of the many formal clothing rental stores around Las Vegas. If you’re not set on keeping your wedding wear, you won’t have something sitting in your closet that you might never wear again.
- Get your wedding supplies on sale whenever possible. Check out wedding supply sale items at: On Sale at The Knot Wedding Shop
- Look for a wedding chapel that is already decorated. This should be fairly since there are so many weddings in Las Vegas. If you spend some time calling around to the various chapels in Las Vegas you might be able to save a huge amount of money on flowers and decorations.
- Find a good photographer or bring a friend with good camera sense. Great pictures will be a lasting memento of your special day and won’t betray how little you spent on everything else.
- And, to make sure that you have a great selection of wedding photos, purchase a wedding camera pack for your guests to use at your wedding. You'll be surprised at how great some of these photos will be. Packs of 10 wedding cameras cost around $50, making it a great value to supplement your offical photographer. You'll get a lot of bang for your buck. You can shop for these camera packs and other great wedding photo products and gifts at Kodak EasyShare Gallery
