Vegas Weekend of Chilling at a Luxury Hotel
For your all-out weekend in Las Vegas, you have nearly endless possibilities on how and where to spend your sleeping hours (if you get any, that is). Some of the most luxurious hotels are right on the Strip, meaning they have the added benefit of proximity to the best nightclubs in town.
These massive monuments to decadence can run you a pretty penny and offer everything from world-class spas, to topless pools, to party suites with built-in stripper poles.
If you’re looking for a Vegas weekend of glamour and decadence, check out the Palms Hotel (pictured at left), a true partier’s paradise.
Vegas Weekend of Dining
If you’re living like a king (or queen) during your Vegas weekend, your meals don’t have to be limited to the uninspiring trays at the casino buffet. Vegas has the best of everything and restaurants are no exception. Check out some of the shopping areas (like the Shoppes at the Palazzo or the Wynn Esplanade) for amazing food prepared by top chefs.
Vegas Weekend of Partying and Drinking
Drinking is, of course, one of the mainstays of Sin City culture and your weekend in Las Vegas is sure to include plenty of it.
And even though it might seem like a relatively straightforward activity, there are a few things you should be aware of before you begin your Vegas weekend.
Vegas Nightlife
Vegas clubs are great places to party and you’ll be paying for it, quite literally.
Drinks are expensive and if you choose to get bottle service at a club like Pure (shown at left) for your group, you can spend into the four-digit range quickly.
You may want to work this into your budget or take a different approach. Having drinks at your hotel before you go out is a good way to save some money you could be spending in other ways.
Also, take advantage of the perks casinos offer, like cheap or free drinks when you gamble. Start your night off playing some slots or other games while sipping cocktails. If you are a consistent and good tipper, you’ll find that service can be pretty good. (See our article on tips for hitting the Vegas nightclub scene for more useful pointers about clubbing in Vegas.)
Finally, if you plan on going to several clubs throughout your Vegas weekend trip, consider getting the ultimate Vegas VIP nightclub package, which includes VIP/front-of-the-line entry to 20 great clubs, bars and "ultra" lounges in Vegas, plus 2-for-1 drink offers and coupons at several places throughout the Sin City. Its a great deal, especially if you plan on doing a lot club-hopping.
Vegas Weekend of Entertainment
While Las Vegas was built on gambling, its currently peddles entertainment. A walk around the Strip is a spectacle in itself but you don’t have to limit yourself.
Las Vegas is home to some amazing shows, like Cirque de Soleil and topless showgirl acts like Jubilee.
Vegas Weekend of Recharging
In addition to the things I’ve already gone over, Vegas also offers great ways to recharge your batteries.
If you need to recharge after your first night of non-stop partying, check out one of the many amazing spas in Vegas, such as the Spa at Bellagio (pictured at left).

Or take a relaxing dip, with or without a suit on, at some of the most luxurious pools in the country.

Vegas Weekend of Outdoor Activity
For those craving some outdoor activity during their Vegas weekend, there are a number of options.
Golfing can be relaxing and challenging all at once. Las Vegas is home to a great selection of golf courses for any level of golfer.
The nearby Red Rock Canyon provides fun activities for supercharged individuals, including rock climbing, white water rafting and mountain biking.
With all these great things to do in Vegas, you may find yourself planning a future trip to the Sin City to fit in everything you missed the first time!
