Question:  I am planning a trip to Las Vegas for a weekend with some friends. 

We all like the luxury and Vegas boutique hotels, but because we’re students, we don’t have a lot of money to spend. 

Do you have any advice on finding discounts or great deals on the coolest Las Vegas hotels?

The big hotels often make so much money from their casinos that they can afford to cut room rates whenever the hotel business slacks off a bit.  The very best discounts can be found around the end of summer (August, September) because it’s still extremely hot, and families are getting ready to send the kids back to school.  You might also want to check the schedule for the Las Vegas Convention Center.  For example, during the Consumer Electronics Show, great hotels deals are likely to be harder to find.  The same holds true for the June wedding season.  But check the same hotels a week or two after Labor Day, and you may be amazed at the savings, with discounted meals and shows thrown in.   Find discounts on luxury hotels by clicking this link:
